the stars were everywhere 360 degrees in the dark sky

the sun set was so amazingly breathtaking

the food was too good that i could eat twice as much as i did everyday ^^

the company that i went with were considerate and thoughtful ppl :D

yeah so it was really an awesome trip!

came back with a much happier, lighter, positive, hyper, energetic attitude ^^/

though it was a short one,

it was nevertheless a fruitful one :)

had another of our usual clique dinners when Jerald books out.

so champ and i walked off from the group and off to Orchard Central to get a cake.

seriously, why is it so difficult to find a whole cake at night in town?

so we walked over to TCC opposite O.C =)

saw this choc cake that looks pretty nice and got it in like a min. haha

after that headed back to O.C to Urban write to get a card for her. since, i thought a birthday cake without a card is kinda... WEIRD? :D

yupp, and placed candles etc and waited for ian to head over with the lighter.

and the guys went into the toilet to write the card while i acc Eunice..

tryin' to distract her off, and telling her the they're shitting that's why they're taking awhile.

and.... BOOM! SURPRISE!! :D

i'm up for another update! :D

okay recently i've been really shagged and tired.

till the extent i had 5 hrs nap in the afternoon, and could still sleep for 10.5 hrs at night!

yeah i was THAT tired. could literally feel the weakness of my body >.<

oh wells.

my individual assignment topic was kinda cool.

its abt self-awareness.. being aware of ourselves and how people judge us.

part of it asks for our strengths and weaknesses. =)

i found it really intriguing when i realized the variation of inputs that different people gave me on them.

Especially those that most people and i don't agree.

E.g. OVERCONFIDENT; LACK OF EMPATHY

yeah and some say my strengths are being able to empathize. IRONY MUCH?!

yeah but as we all know.. to each his own (:

and i'm totally accepting and embracing every input cos i value them.

But its amazing to know that what you think people see in you is actually different from what we're expecting!

EXPECT THE UNEXPECTED

and its only through such times, where we get more aware of the people viewing about us, and how we portray a more strengthened image towards them, therefore improving :)

you really really couldn't take it.

IndoMIE has its OWN ingredients in which enhances the taste of its noodles to make it a speciality of Indonesia, Medan.
Not utilising its ingredients are devastating enough to the determinate taste of the original.
Apart from that, X wanted to put pepper(-.-?!), some weird sauce.
Its like... might as well just buy noodles and cook it right?

Anyway, its just getting more apparent to me on who i should build my defences against =)

and i realised one issue that caught my attention.

i've decided to update my oh-so-dead blog thanks to the huge fan requests =)
hahaha.

not a very pleasant start, but, recently i'm easily pissed with people.
esp. the people around me, close to me.
why so? i'm still apprehensive.
probably i'm starting to take what people say more seriously?
i've become a less joke taker?
i feel less appreciated, and less taken serious to?
or that i'm having more on my mind lately? PMS? no.
or am i just exhibiting negative energy around me?

one thing i know is, when i'm pissed or annoyed at something,
i would shut up.
the whole atmosphere becomes a rather cold and silent one.
why?
all that i've learnt on behavious, attitudes& personalities of people, anger, conflict& stress managements.. where've they gone?
i know i seal my lips tight whenever it occurs, cos' i'd prefer to take it all into myself than initiate a conflict.
would that lead to resentment?
i'm aware that i do contemplate confrontations, but implemetations doesnt go well with me.
so, why?

we all know, the very balance of life.
you gain something, you lose something.
i know very well what i've gained, as well as what i've lost.
oh wells.
life still carries on its path.
time and tide waits for no man.
time doesnt stop for us
we have to be on par with it
or we'll suffer at the end of the day.

we're the vulnerable ones to time.
they control us.
the only way to control time,
is to have a disciplined life, and a determined heart
dont let the time factor control us
and allow it to make a mess in our life out of nothing
it can even result in a huge turning point in life.

people have limits.
dont mess with mine.
you wont want the tables to be turned around.
get that in you people..

On a more positive& brighter note,
i'm glad things are going on more smoothly with my baby (:
he's the ONLY ONE apart from my family who treats me the way i am, and as a hearted individual =) LOVE HIM TTM!

and not wanting the same situation to occur twice,
i'm gonna start studying soon and get my fundamentals on the ball.
that feeling...
just felt like i lost a soul..
and never would i want it back.

is just a threshold of fraility
anything, can happen anywhere, to any person, at any moment,
even when one is constantly cautious and aware of every situation.
also,
unfainess and prejudices are bound to occur.
it actually happens, to everyone.
but how we actually handle it is the crucial point.
it determines, how maganimous one is, and how one can accept the reality of being unfair graciously, and simultaneously, not being taken advantage of the situation.

In life,
we often let slide of our priorities inadvertently.
this is one human error many do not notice, however, assume they do.
only through a third party, where they view a holistic approach, would they be aware.
1. 50k bail in need for a sister's son or he might go to jail
2. minor car accident of ur car
3. cny
which would you prioritise?
it may seem so easy to judge from here.
however, the people involved may not see wad actually should be prioritised as the top.
usually, people are self centered..
as a general statement.
they fail to see the importance of the different situations.
they wouldnt stop what they're doing, just to do another in which they see do not benefit them.
credits, benefits, incentives, prizes, are what money-minded people like us would stop what we're doing and reconsider the situation.

the reality of this world, is jus soooooo true. so real. so nasty. so forceful. so intriguing.
you can't do anything to change, but to accept our roles in our life, and in our society.
and also fascinate over, how we enter this world, not knowing a single lil' matter, and slowly absorbing all the forces of the world, and gradually accepting it.

just this one day, i experienced too much, but i never regretted learning through this experience (: thanks dad. you really gain my respect, and i admire you for wad you have done (: you're just so, amazing ^^

i can safely say, that i really lived 2010 to its fullest!

however, there're several new year resolutions that i have to note for 2011 and the future!
first and foremost,
PUNCTUALITY.
2. Increase confidence level
3. Love baby more! ^^
4. Live 2011 better than 2010
5. Control my agitation when being irritated
6. More sociable; by approaching people instead of the other way round
7. Learn time management *very important*
8. Have more discipline; being able to work even without constant surveillance
9. Eat more healthily; instead of satisfying my hunger pangs every night
10. Stand by my firm more, instead of caring wad others think abt them
11. Get more As and improve on my calculations.
12. Love myself more! =D

okie basically these are the 12 that i could think for now.

anyway, recently've been really busyyy. going out and all.
and baby left for TH on 26th =(
oh wells. will be seeing him soon! ^^

i dont really like my current class.
its too full a class for my liking :(
why must they budget and combine batches tgt?
now they combine business mgmt & accounting class with our international business class.
last sem it used to be jus the cosy lil' 11 of us..
this sem.. it transformed into a huge ass 50 + ppl class. =.=
but its good that our IBMGT class is still tgt and having fun in class =P

A carrot, an egg, and a cup of coffee...You will never look at a cup of coffee the same way again.

A young woman went to her mother and told her about her life and how things were so hard for her. She did not know how she was going to make it and wanted to give up. She was tired of fighting and struggling. It seemed as one problem was solved, a new one arose.

Her mother took her to the kitchen. She filled three pots with water and placed each on a high fire. Soon the pots came to boil.. In the first she placed carrots, in the second she placed eggs, and in the last she placed ground coffee beans. She let them sit and boil without saying a word.

In about twenty minutes she turned off the burners. She fished the carrots out and placed them in a bowl. She pulled the eggs out and placed them in a bowl. Then she ladled the coffee out and placed it in a bowl. Turning to her daughter, she asked, ' Tell me what you see.'

'Carrots, eggs, and coffee,' she replied.Her mother brought her closer and asked her to feel the carrots. She did and noted that they were soft. The mother then asked the daughter to take an egg and break it. After pulling off the shell, she observed the hard boiled egg. Finally, the mother asked the daughter to sip the coffee. The daughter smiled as she tasted its rich aroma. The daughter then asked, 'What does it mean, mother?'

Her mother explained that each of these objects had faced the same adversity: boiling water. Each reacted differently.The carrot went in strong, hard, and unrelenting. However, after being subjected to the boiling water, it softened and became weak. The egg had been fragile. Its thin outer shell had protected its liquid interior, but after sitting through the boiling water, its inside became hardened.

The ground coffee beans were unique, however. After they were in the boiling water, they had changed the water. 'Which are you?' she asked her daughter. 'When adversity knocks on your door, how do you respond? Are you a carrot, an egg or a coffee bean?'

Think of this: Which am I? Am I the carrot that seems strong, but with pain and adversity do I wilt and become soft and lose my strength?

Am I the egg that starts with a malleable heart, but changes with the heat? Did I have a fluid spirit, but after a death, a breakup, a financial hardship or some other trial, have I become hardened and stiff? Does my shell look the same, but on the inside am I bitter and tough with a stiff spirit and hardened heart?

Or am I like the coffee bean? The bean actually changes the hot water, the very circumstance that brings the pain. When the water gets hot, it releases the fragrance and flavor. If you are like the bean, when things are at their worst, you get better and change the situation around you. When the hour is the darkest and trials are their greatest do you elevate yourself to another level? How do you handle adversity? Are you a carrot, an egg or a coffee bean? May you have enough happiness to make you sweet, enough trials to make you strong, enough sorrow to keep you human and enough hope to make you happy.

The happiest of people don't necessarily have the best of everything; they just make the most of everything that comes along their way. The brightest future will always be based on a forgotten past; you can't go forward in life until you let go of your past failures and heartaches. this is my 212th post.

anywayy, its been relatively warm for the past few days... and weeks!
countless of people falling ill..
down with throat inflammation, fever, soar throat, flu, heatiness. >.<
really wished for the weather to be much cooler!!
i NEARLY fell sick but thanks to my strong immune..
i won the battle against those ill bugs. =D

its thurs 13th. ooooo~ haha.
its been half a month since ky left..
means 2 more week and he's back! =D
and he fell sick too =( hope he recovers soon!!

this week has been busyy.

i always thought of him as a NORMAL talented german musician and composer...

had this MDIS filming today to promote our school. haha.
went over and had some script to memorize..

it was niceeeeeee. stayed in the hotel there. haha. went with my family.

today, 28th OCT, marks the END of my diploma course!!!!!
oh man. SUPERRR HAPPY!!! hahas.
no more stress no more exams!!
now waiting for results to come out and our certs!
and we've officially graduated! =D
